Celebrating a Legacy

We have lost an American hero. Chief Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a trailblazer for protecting all people under our Constitution’s promise. In extending equal protection of the laws, opportunities were unfastened and rights for all people regardless of your gender and gender orientation were affirmed. As the second female to be sworn to the United States Supreme Court she broke ceilings that should have never been built, but nonetheless were. She is an inspiration to me as I run for office to be keenly focused on the commitment to serve justly, to serve all people, and to protect all people. She gives me steam to forge on.
